Company Updates
Empowr is proud to say that we were awarded $100,000 for the next three years from our first grantor, The Hopper-Dean Foundation. They were the first to take a chance on Empowr, and it's incredible to have their continued support.
In addition, Pluralsight has come on again to donate another $25,000.
We are finalizing our first-year academic curriculum this summer with many new content updates.
Student Updates
Guess what?!?! It's field trip time! From June 19th through June 25th, Empowr students will take a field trip to Salt Lake City and San Francisco. We will tour tech offices, visit theme parks, learn history, and have a great time.
The good news isn't over yet. Two of our students have earned internships at MIT through the Empowr program. THE MIT. Ya know. The one that is the world's best computer science university. Let’s give Thomas and Dawit a 👏🏽round of applause 👏🏽
